UNOH sponsors the Allen Lima Youth Leadership Educational Session on December 4, 2015

The University of Northwestern Ohio is sponsoring the Allen Lima Youth Leadership Educational Session on Friday, December 4, 2015, in the UNOH High Performance 600 Building on Hartzler Road.  The Session runs from 8:00 a.m. through 2:30 p.m. and the focus concentrates on the importance of Understanding Self & Leadership.

Lecture sessions throughout the day include DARE Communication Styles, Leadership Styles, and Team Building Exercises. 

From 11:45 to 12:15 p.m. the group will be eating lunch at the UNOH Food Court.  Then from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. participants will be guided on a tour of the UNOH Student Commons and Barnes & Noble Bookstore. Additionally, Dean Andy O’Neal will discuss a general overview of the curriculum and the programs offered at the University of Northwestern Ohio to the more than 4,500 students currently enrolled.                                                        

The Allen/Lima Youth Leadership program, in partnership with Lima Rotary Foundation and Lima Memorial Health System, is a county and city wide youth leadership program for a maximum of 40 high school sophomores and juniors.  The ALL-Youth Leadership program actively involves, educates and challenges youth to reach their fullest potential.  The training sessions, which meet approximately every other month, provide the youth with unique opportunities to learn more about their community.
