UNOH AMA Marketing Week celebrated October 3-7, 2016

Posted on Monday, September 26, 2016

This year the University of Northwestern Ohio’s AMA Marketing Club will hold its Marketing Week October 3-7, 2016.  Having Marketing week early in October helps to leverage the events for chapter membership recruiting.

AMA Marketing Week is celebrated annually by chapters of the American Marketing Association, one of the largest professional associations for marketers with over 30,000 members worldwide in every area of marketing.  Marketing Week is a chance for collegiate chapters to showcase both the variety and depth of marketing, opportunities in careers in Marketing as well as to highlight the benefits of belonging to AMA and your collegiate chapter.

Monday, October 3rd will begin with a National Brand Scavenger Hunt on campus, which will incorporate Twitter and a week-long “search and tweet” for prizes.

Tuesday night, October 4th between 7-9 pm, we will host a Celebration of National Marketing Week at Racer Station with DJ Terence.

Wednesday, October 5th will start with professional pictures taken for members at 6 pm, with a Linked In workshop at 7pm in Room 13101 led by Brian Williams, UNOH alum and employed at NOW Marketing.

Thursday, October 6th the UNOH AMA will kick off the Fall Season with the opening of our Barnes & Noble Starbucks Café in the 100 Building.

Friday, October 7th the UNOH AMA will have a registration and information booth set up in the 100 and 13000 buildings. Winner of Scavenger Hunt will be announced.
