The 2019 Spring Preview Days for all of the undergraduate colleges at the University of Northwestern Ohio have been set.
The College of Business, College of Health Professions, and College of Occupational Professions will host Spring Preview Day on Friday, April 5th, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The University will be offering $21,000 in scholarships to the winners of the “Bob Snyder Scholarship Test”. Scholarship testing is offered to both high school juniors and seniors. This test will be administered at 11:30 a.m. at the UNOH Event Center.
The College of Applied Technologies will hold two Spring Preview Days on Friday April 12, and Saturday April 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. The Applied Technologies Spring Preview Days will feature the Bob Hall Scholarship Testing. Scholarship tests will be offered to more than 800 juniors from approximately fifteen different states. UNOH will be testing in automotive, diesel, agricultural, robotics, and HVAC topics with the winners in each area receiving a $5,000 tuition scholarship. Second place winners will receive a $4,000 scholarship, third place will receive a $3,000 scholarship, fourth place will receive a $2,000 scholarship, and fifth place will receive a $1,000 scholarship. Testing will be held in the UNOH Event Center at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. each day.
The Spring Preview Days are specifically designed for current high school juniors and seniors and will feature information about Bachelor Degrees and Associate Degrees in all majors ranging from Accounting, Business Administration, Health Information Technology, and Marketing to High Performance Motorsports, Diesel Technology and Robotics and Automation Technology.
An advisor for online and flexible learning degree programs will be on campus to talk about the unique educational options for non-traditional students.
Tours will be given of the 200-acre University of Northwestern Ohio campus. There will also be opportunities to discuss financial aid, housing, scheduling, employment, and detailed curriculum information with department representatives. Classrooms and training equipment will be on display with opportunities to speak with instructors about courses. It is an excellent opportunity for prospective students to become acquainted with the University and the opportunities it offers.
